Fantasmic! package cancellation fee

So I was surprised today to hear there is a $10 per person fee charged if you cancel your Fantasmic! dinner package less than 2 days prior to the date. For a party of 5 like us, that's $50. This wouldn't be an issue, except the only thing that I find annoying is that the only thing we could get was Hollywood and Vine. If the weather is crummy that night (which, in September, is certainly a possibility) and it looks like Fantasmic is going to be cancelled due to weather, I sure as heck don't want to show up at Hollywood & Vine and eat dinner there.

It's not a big deal, I'm thrilled to even get the package. But I was surprised about this because I don't remember it being discussed before on here.
