Fantasmic: Mama's vs. H&V

I am worried about the "limited" menu at Mama Melrose. Can anyone tell me specifically what apps and entree's are available? I am thinking that we might be better off at Hollywood and Vine if the menu at Mama's is too limited. I really wanted to get the Seafood Fra Diavlo....

I can't remember the exact menu, but I do remember that I had no problem finding anything to eat, and I'm a very picky eater. DBF and I split a flatbread for an appetizer, I had chicken parm, he had some veal dish, and we both had ice cream for dessert. But you also have a choice of tiramasu and one other thing. Sorry I'm vague, but I figured it was something! We've always done MM and decided to do H&V last year for the first time. We much prefer MM and we're going back there for this trip in May. We find the food to be much better and more tasty!

MM's will be ok -- If you can, I'd recommend switching to the Brown Derby.

When we went to Mama Melrose for Fantasmic, we got a salad and a flatbread for the table to share (4 of us). Then we each individually picked our entrees - whatever we wanted from the menu. Afterwards we picked whatever dessert we wanted.

Thanks for the input!! I guess I'll keep the ADR's at MM. We actually did Fantasmic with MM back when the package first came out (it was the first week they were doing it!!) We liked the food, but my then two year old wouldn't sit still long enough for us to enjoy it. Since then we always went to H&V, specifically because they had still had the characters, and buffets just are quicker with an active child. We did the package one more time at H&V without the characters. We have now skipped Fantasmic altogether for the last three trips (in 1.5 years) and I decided I wanted to do it again, so........




Our trip is in less than 40 days!!!!
