Fantasmic is updated in the DLR site

Got through after holding for 25 mins, only to be told they don't have any dates showing up beyond 6th Jan! System error! Was advised to call back tomorrow! Arghh!

I would call right back.

Thanks for that advice -- you are correct it was a problem. They had to move or reservations from 4:30 to 4:00????? But I'm thinking on 12/29 it will be crazy busy anyway and so it will probably be closer to 5:00 before we actual eat anyway. And after reading the other posts I'm just grateful for anything at this point.

I'm also feeling a great deal of gratitude for everyone on this board who so kindly shares their knowledge. Without you guys I would have arrived at the park not knowing any of these changes and had to see the disappointment in everyone's faces when we learned about it. They truly love fantasmic and it is a tradition for us. So thanks to everyone for sharing  I feel like ya all had my back on this one!!!!

Woot, finally got through. I was on hold about 15 minutes and got info for the remaining 8. I reserved the F! On the Go package. It's actually not a bad deal since we have to eat anyway. The CM told me the viewing is basically the same viewing as there is now but it'll be used for this plus they'll use the area on the bridge as well. They are limiting the number of packages.

My pick up time for food is 3:15 pm for the early show. A 5:00 pick up time led us into the late show.

The dining choice are:
-herb marinated chicken breast with seasoned veggies
-lasagna
-veggie lasagna

All adult packages come with a drink, salad (even the chicken meal), a roll, and marbled cheesecake. If you ask me $19.99 is a really good deal. A meal of that size would cost that without an FP for F!. She said she thinks we arrive 45 minutes before the show. The 24 hour cancelation policy applies and I had to reserve with a CC.

Anyone managed to book online?

The CM I talked to said they've had technical issues with the winter rollout of everything on the website. She told came in this morning to find out the website was not working and wanted to fake sick and go home! :rotfl: Despite her crazy morning, she was very "Disney", joking around, apologizing that our first choice was full, etc.

Finally got through and was on hold 15 minutes. First choice of Hungry Bear (dessert party) on 12/15 for the first show was sold out so I booked the second show. Oh well, my 8 year old never goes to bed early on Disney trips anyway so we're good :)

I noticed this question was asked before and not answered. Sorry to repeat, but, this is important:

Has to viewing for Fantasmic changed to standing?

TIA

I just reserved Christmas Eve for BB for 6pm :cool1:

I think on hold about 15 minutes. I was getting the busy signal and called the old premium viewing number and they transferred me into dining.;)

I was really looking forward to having a chair and reserving the dessert package for the first time over Christmas, but oh well, at least I will be at Disneyland and not at work!

Got through on the phone after 15-20 minutes. Got the dessert party for 1/1 at 6:30PM. Thanks for the heads up guys.

FYI - Online booking is now working. I was able to reserve Hungry Bear for the first show on 12/15 even though I had been told over the phone that it wasn't available. So, I booked it and cancelled the second show I had reserved originally. For those of you who didn't get what you wanted, give it a shot!

Interesting....
It's a lot of money to spend and there's no refunds if Fantasmic! is cancelled. I'll be there in February so I'll be interested reading reviews leading up to our trip.

My first thought was WHAT! no refunds if it is cancelled. But then I thought about it. You are paying for a MEAL that comes with a Fantasmic admission. You are not really paying for the Fantasmic admission.

I was just able to book BB online for the 12th at 7:40pm (I had selected a 7:30 time, but by the time I had logged on that time was gone). I feel sorry for anyone who didn't know tickets went on sale today. I suspect most of December is gone by now. But it's nice to know they aren't packing the dining package people in like sardines.

I am curious about something. Nowhere in the BB reservation did it ask me which show I wished to attend. I'm operating on the assumption that since there was such a huge gap in available reservation times that they assume anyone booking after 7:30 is automatically going to be placed in the second viewing, since there's not much time to eat and then get situated before the 8:45 ish early showtime. But if anyone knows anything for sure I'd love to know.

Does anyone know what the menu choices are going to be for BB? That would be a huge factor in my decision on whether or not to book this.

$41.99 for River Belle Terrace?! That is OUTRAGEOUS! I see it's a 3 course meal, but is it going to be a sit down restaurant with full service now, and is the food going to be markedly better than the awful food they have there regularly?

The grab and go option seems like a better value. I liked the grab and go option they had for world of color, though I remember the portions being really small, but I'm a piggy :P

Just tried and it's still reloading the page without allowing me to book a table for any date. Frustrating because it shows availability for us on 12/12!

ETA - even though it wouldn't work on either of my browsers on my computer, I was able to get it to work on my phone and to book my party of 7 for 4:20 at BB on 12/12 by booking a party of 4 under one account and a party of 3 under the other. We'll go to BB day of and ask to be seated with or close to each other.

Those of you with smartphones may want to use them to book. Using the mobile site, I just booked BB F! dinner on Jan 1. It was very fast and easy.

For BB, you can choose from any of the usual Dinner options.
