Fantasmic in 2009

Our next WDW trip is in March. September 15th is the day I can start making dinner reservations. Does anyone of you know where I can find the dates for Fantasmic in 2009? I did a search on the WDW site, but no dates for 2009. Is it Mondays & Thursdays?

Fantasmic runs every night. BUT, Disney is not taking any ADRs for 2009 trips until 10/24 while they are done updating their system. They will take ressies for CRT, Chef Mickey's, and maybe a few others ONLY.

Just an update they are now taking reservations thru Feb. 22, they started last Saturday even though we were told Sunday. The schedule for Fantasmic is on the Disney website go to Hollywood Studios Calendar then click on each individual day and it will tell you the times. When I checked for our trip it was Monday and Fridays. Hope this helps

we tried to book Fantasmic on the Monday we'll be there (Jan.12) but disney said they are only doing Fantasmic on thursday's. (didn't work out for our trip I really wanted to see Fantasmic)

Not sure if that's only January...

The schedule for March has not been published yet. As PP mentioned, on the WDW website, go to Calendar, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and your month. Once the park hours for March are published, you can click on the individual date number to see if Fantasmic! is scheduled for that day. For February, it looks like they're showing it 2 or 3 times a week, on varying days (Mon and Fri; Mon and Fri; Sun, Wed, and Thurs; Sun, Wed, and Sat!). They like to keep us gusesing!

I just double checked the calendar for January, and it says that Fantasmic! WILL happen on Monday, January 12.

I read that on the website too, but when we called, Disney said they're not doing Fantasmic on Monday's. Only Thursday's. Not sure if it's all month, or just that week.


Have a great time! Let's hope for warm weather! (Of course, we're coming from MN, so anything Florida dishes out in Jan. will be better than home!!)

I got mine for a Friday. I know its not as crowded in Feb, but I feel better having the package booked anyway. My only doubt is that I got Hollywood and Vine and have heard just horrible things about it.

We're going in January and the concierge at the YC said Fantasmic will be on Thursday when we're there.

We made reservations just two days ago for 1/12/09 Fantasmic Dinner Package at Hollywood and Vine. I would think they would not have been able to book if there was not a show scheduled.

It sounds like 10/24 will be quite busy for all the catch up reservations, ugh!

Starting in 2009 I was told that Fantasmic will only be run on Monday's and Thursday. This is from Disney Dining when I called to make reservation for the dinner package.
