Fantasmic FP's connected to rest of DL FPs?

We will be at DL in a little under a month and will be doing 1 of the Fantasmic! dining packages. Does anyone know if the Fantasmic! Fast Passes are "connected" to the rest of the DL FP's?

Also just out of curiosity, does anyone know how quickly the Storytelling @ Royal Theater run out? We might be interested in attending 1 of the afternoon sessions, but it's not a "must do." In fact, Mickey & The Magical Map and Jedi Training Academy are higher up on the list for us that day in terms of shows.

F! FPs are not connected to FPs in the rest of the park.

They are not connected. You are able to have a fast pass to Fantasmic and still be able to pull fast passes for attractions.

From my understanding, the F! Dining packages are like the WoC dining packages in DCA. After your meal you are given fastpasses to gain access to the restaurant's respective viewing area. Please, someone correct me if I am wrong, as I have not had a chance to use the F! dining package yet.

Yes, after you have finished your meal, you will be given a "FP" that allows you access to that dining package's viewing area. I think the confusion is the fact that they're all called a "Fastpass". If you are doing one of the dining packages, you do not need to get a regular FP for F! from the machines near Big Thunder. Neither the F! dining package FP, nor the regular F! FPs, are connected to the DL FP system.
