We usually do the dinner package for fantasmic but this trip we are going to try and line up and skip the package. Its just me and my 2 dd's and frankly for what they eat it won't be worth it the $$.

My thinking was to get to the theater and just order from counter service to pass the time and have a bit of dinner but the menu looks slim! Can anyone tell me what is in the kids box lunch? I will be fine with the chicken wrap and my kids probably will do the box - just wondering what it is LOL.

Also if we get to the theaterand find our seats can I leave a towel or our sweatshirts to save them or will I have to have purchased my fast food already in order to keep our seats?

I am the solo adults and they are borderline old enough to leave alone while I get dinner. I would rather have them come with me after we have secured our seats. Of course after loosing prime parade seats due to a last minute potty emergency I am usually ready for anything! Perhaps a kind hearted neighbor will keep our seats - does it get as aggressive as the parade route?

Ok now that I have typed this I may be better off doing the package - any advice is welcome. Sorry so long.

There are a bunch of great CS choices on the way up to the theatre, and they do let you bring the food in. My kid's favorite meal from our first trip was juice, cut up fruit, and big pretzels from the fruit stand on Sunset Blvd. (I think that's what that street is called) that they got to eat while waiting for Fantasmic. Go figure!
So my advice is get your food, line up early, eat when you are seated. If you are there on an off season, you should have no problem getting a seat right away. Hit the pottys before the food. Hmmm, hopefully that takes care of it, b/c I am pretty sure someone will take your seat.
Have a great time!

Thanks I didn't realize you could bring food in and I know just the place you are talking about and that would be a perfect dinner for youngest dd.

Still love to know what is in the kids lunch box though, and is it a souvineer type box? My dd has one from the CR a few years ago and loves it for her pencil box!
