Fantasmic early show - is it dark enough?

Only FP I was able to grab for Fantasmic was the early showing. Is it even dark enough at that point for the Fantasmic show?

I have a special needs daughter and it will be her first time going (she is 8) so we are trying to use FP for as many of the parades/fireworks as possible so we can have the 'preferred seating'... but I'm wondering if I would be better off using it for Toy Story and then taking our chances and just getting over there early with a Fantasmic late show?

What time is the early show? Are you sure there is a second showing? Will your DD be able to stay up later and enjoy it?

If there is a 2nd show, it's usually less crowded, and you don't have to line up quite as early.

Yes. They post times based on sundown times and don't schedule a performance if it's not going to be dark enough.
