My family is going to WDW in early December (3-11) and I wanted to know if anybody could remember if the waits for Fantasmic were long during that time. I am trying to decide if it is worth it to get the dinner package, since you still have to get there 30 minutes in advance. I am hoping that since the park attendance will be light, so will the Fantasmic lines. Any thoughts??

We walked in last year about 5 min before show started and got about half way down on the right hand side. They seat you in different sections as you come in.

This is good to hear. We're down the same and I don't think the Fantasmic dinner package works for us because they force you to eat so early. My DW wants to get an ADR at Hollywood and Vine for around 5pm (which is still pretty early for us). We figure with as a buffet we should be able to get out a little after 6pm and join the line. From what you're saying that should work.

I'm hoping that as well. We have 5 p.m. ADR at Mama Melrose and assuming the show is at 7, thinking we are timing this pretty good. Let's hope so.

I would not count on past years being any indicator for this year since you are also new to this time of year too and you are not alone. We typically go at this time of the year and are hearing there are more people attending this time of year than in past years. Expect average to high crowds this year...that is the word from the travel professionals.
