Hoping someone who has ever had to utilize the disabled seating area for Fantasmic can give me some feedback.

I tried all week every morning to get the premium seating package at RBT for Fantasmic, I was incredibly unsuccessful.
My driving force is that my husband walks on prosthetics, sitting on the ground is super challenging and uncomfortable. He can do it, and will for me (💗), but it’s not his favorite. We did the Blue Bayou package last time we did Fantasmic and had that great center viewing area but we never did seek out where the disabled area was.

This time we are doing the RBT regular F! package.

I’m wondering if you’ve been in this section where the disabled area was and what the options are? Bench? Wall? Is it mostly for those in wheelchairs only?
If he can at least lean on a wall it’s much better.

Thanks!

It's to the far right closest to Riverbelle terrace. There is a part where there is a wall that he can stand against it. It is mostly for scooters/wheel chairs. There are no actual seated sections unfortunately. I usually park my scooter and my daughter goes and stands behind where the wall is and she still is able to see really good. The last time we went we had a fast pass and it didn't matter what color you had you could sit in the handicap section if you had a handicap person with you. I hope this helps with your plannine.

Could you maybe rent a wheelchair just for the evening for him to use? That would probably make it easier for you access the disabled seating area if it is mainly used for wheelchairs and scooters and would give him a seat.

Thank you! So my daughter and I could sit in front of him?

Wheelchairs give him massive anxiety. He walks well on prosthetics.
It’s long term standing that’s hard and ground sitting.
But he would NEVER use a wheelchair

Thanks for the suggestion though

We just did a Fantasmic package last week. My daughter explained adamantly that neither my husband nor I can sit on the ground. I have mobility issues and my husband was using an ECV. They allowed us to sit at the tables next to the Harbour Galley restaurant.
That’s promising! Thank you!

That's good to know. Who did you speak to? Maybe OP could do that.

OP- I looked into this last time we went, I can't sit on the ground or stand for long because of back issues. I recall people saying there were a few restaurants around Rivers Of America that you could sit and watch, but without the best view.

I would keep checking for Fantasmic. I got World Of Color one day out of the blue when I checked at around 2:00 in the afternoon. People do cancel, especially the closer you get to the trip.

Following along with a question...

Our daughter is older but prefers to use a stroller tagged as a wheelchair rather than a wheelchair. In WDW, we've been able to access handicapped viewing with this accommodation. Any idea if it is the same for this show? Are they allowing just one additional person in the area with the person with the disability, or did you happen to see where two people may be permitted? It is just our daughter, myself, and my husband traveling. Thanks in advance!

Thanks to the OP for asking for this very helpful information.

If the stroller is properly tagged as a wheelchair, you can use handicap viewing but if it doesn't have the tag, then you can't. Fantasmic should allow you to all be there. I've never seen 2 guests be unable to accompany a person with a wheelchair. Usually, the limit is 6 people total per wheelchair.

One thing we noticed when lining up for our seating for Hungry Bear that there is a limit to how many people can sit in the disabled seating area. Or at least that's what the CM was telling some real unhappy guests in ECVs being turned away. So line up early to make sure you get a spot!

What time would you suggest for the first show on a Monday night in August?

Thanks!
