Any good recommendations on where to make my dinner ressie? My husband really wants to go somewhere he can get steak. I am pretty sure I have everything sorted out for adr's except fantasmic. There will be 6 of us, ranging in age from 7-31. thanks!!!

Not sure I would reccomend the Fantasmic package at all, you can get better seats otherwise but if you want steak then go to Brown Derby for Filet Mignon. Or better yet, skip the package, go to Le Cellier Steakhouse at Canada, then hop over to the Studios to get better seats for Fantasmic.

My suggestion is Mama Melrose's. My DH always orders the steak there and thinks it's one of the best anywhere in WDW. I always order the Seafood Diavola, but get it non-spicy, with only shrimp. The service is great and they are always happy to prepare anything on the menu anyway you want it. The chocolate lava cake is great! It has a raspberry sauce over it that's wonderful. We're eating there this year on my birthday.

It is true that the Fantasmic Package seats are a little off to the side, but are still excellent. I have seen that show fill up completely and have people turned away, so I wouldnt say that you can get better seats otherwise. Your seats could be much worse or you could possibly not get in.

We like Mama Melroses. I have heard HOllywood and Vine is terrible, and Brown Derby is excellent. However, Brown Derby is more expensive and bumps up to 2 table service on the DDP.

Also I believe if you get the package you don't have to wait in line for and hour or two.. We got the package for Nov. and are having dinner at Mama Melrose. Can't wait.

If I were doing the Fantasmic Dinner package, and I have done it before, I would eat at Brown Derby. It is consistently good food, well presented, and the service is usually impeccable. We always eat at Brown Derby when at WDW and have never been disappointed.
