Can anybody give me some info about fantasmic dinner package any info will be appreciated, also, do they give you choice of restraunt because I thought Brown derby sounded too formal after a day in the park

:) Thanx!!! :)

You have a choice of Brown Derby, Hollywood and Vine, or Mama Melrose.

We always used H and V, but this trip we booked Brown Derby, since we're meeting some friends for dinner.

Actually the Brown Derby isn't "formal" at all. Check out the menu and see if anything appeals to you. Mama Melrose is also a Fantasmic package restaurant.

We chose Hollywood & Vine for the FDP because it was the least expensive choice. I was hoping that with the buffet, all the picky eaters  in my family would be able to find something to eat. We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality and variety of food at H&V. We were all able to find several selections on the buffet that we liked. In fact, we all got full before we were able to try everything that looked good to us!

Another benefit, as I have heard, is that the section held for the package diners is off to the side. While you will not be centered for the show, this allows you to exit right out to where the buses are. Supposedly, it gets pretty hairy trying to exit after the show.

We're doing it the last night of our trip so it's no real big deal to us.....

Some don't like the seating for the show, it's all the way on the far right hand side as you face the stage. I thoughts the view was fine, myself, but some people feel they MUST sit in the center. If you feel you need to be more in the center, then the package may not be for you. Personal I think skiping the wait in line is worth it, but not everyone feels that way.

I agree with you. I thought the seats were great. No, they aren't right in the center, but we had a great view of everything. We got there 40 minutes before the show and were able to walk right in and sit about 8 rows back from the front. At that time, the non-package seating area was pretty full except for the very back rows.

We chose H&V because it was the least expensive option and sounded like it would have something to please all of our kids(1,4,7,10). I was a little worried because I'd read a few bad reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. We thought the food was very good and there was plenty of variety. We'll definitely do the package again and will probably go with H&V again.

Thanx for all the info guys!!! i'll definatly look at the sites.
again, thanks for your help I appreciate it!
