At busy times of the year, like Xmas, when there is more than one Fantasmic show, are you assigned a particular show with your dinner package? If so, do you get a choice? We are doing the package on December 26 and don't recall any information about this aspect of the package. I know we are eating at 4:30 pm, but wasn't sure if that meant that the show we were going to was automatically the 6:30 pm show or not.

I'm not sure about Christmas specifically, but usually the DP is only for one show, typically the earliest one. During the Christmas/New Year's time, there are typically two shows. I have even heard of there being three, because it is the busiest time of year. Again, because of how busy it is, the DP might be different than usual.

Thanks. Any other experiences when there is more than one Fantasmic show on a given night?

Bumping to see if anyone else has information/

When I did this where there was two showings i was offered the option of which showing to see and that determined the dinner slots they offered.

However I honestly think it's a waste of money, the seating isn't that great and you'd almost certainly get in on the second showing through standby.

Personnally I'd go with a normal meal then getting a good seat for Fantasmic after.

Thanks. We have done Fantasmic many times without the package. The CM making the ADR we were making for that night (Hollywood and Vine) offered the Fantasmic dinner package so we decided to do it. We don't have to use the "preferred seating" but we will use it as an option not to wait in line since there really isn't a bad seat in that theater (except up close where you get wet). I'm thinking that our package must be for the first show (6:30 pm) since our ADR is for 4:30 pm and wasn't allowed to be made later.

If there is more than one show in an evening, the dinner package is always for the first show.

One of the things I keep reading about positives of the package is:

Seats are close to the exit, so leaving is much, much easier

I called yesterday to try to get ADRs for the Fantasmic dinner show for my trip in December. Even though it is the week before Christmas there are two shows each night. The dining CM mentioned that the only dinner times for the show package were from 3:30 - 4:30. This would lead me to believe that it is only for the first show otherwise there would be later dining times available.
