I got back on Monday (see my other thread)
one thing I forgot to mention... One thing we always do at the MGM park is the dinner package, either at mama melroses or brown derby. when we were there i was amazed that on the 1st day of my holiday i rang dining reservations to discover that EVERY package at MM & BD was full for the whole 2 weeks of our holiday. We had to go the hollywood & vine buffet (good but not our preference). I asked what the reason was, considering how quiet the parks were, to be told it was the Disney Dining Plan people block booking the package out on their plans.
God only knows how hard it is going to be to get in when its busy! you may want to ring ahead & book if you want this during the summer..
Funny thing was, we had no reservation problems anywhwere else at all while we were there - we could pick our time. even tchoup chop at Universal was half empty!
