Fantasmic Dinner package question

Reserve a table at one of these 3 restaurants in Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park:

•The Hollywood Brown Derby (lunch or dinner)
•Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano (lunch or dinner)
•Hollywood & Vine (dinner packages only)

The Fanstasmic! Dining Package is available on all days when there is a Fantasmic! show scheduled. On days when there are multiple showtimes, the Dining Package priority seating is available for the first showtime only.

We have a 1:40 ressie for the Fantasmic! package next month. We don't like a big meal at dinner, so this works out great for us. We plan to do some Studio attractions in the morning, eat our lunch at Mama Melrose, and then head back to our Epcot resort for some pool time & rest before heading back to the park in the early evening.

We love the Brown Derby. This is the second time that we are doing the package with them. I personally feel it's worth the 2 credits. I think it's all subjected to your own opinion really. I haven't tried the other two but would definitely like to in the future. Try everything once I always say I would do the package and go with H and V or Brown Derby. Keep checking on Mamas though it might open up.

It always comes down to personal preference, but I don't think brown derby is worth 2 dining credits! I remember it being good, but not great .. not sure if it's a good value to use the 2 dining credits either.

We haven't eaten at other DHS restaurants so I can't comment there, but we have down the fantasmic package, and then we have gone without it. We agreed that we wouldn't do the package again, because we don't think the section is that good. Last time we went about an hour and a half early and got great seats, up close. We said we'd just do that for now on.

I'm looking at booking Brown Derby for dinner with the Fantasmic package. I know there is a set price, is there a set menu too?

After doing some reading I went ahead and changed our Fantasmic package to Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano I hope you can change yours just keep trying.
