We will be traveling with a group of 8 with developmental and some physical disabilities, none will be in wheelchairs but may have some issues going up and down stairs. My question is, could there be issues with the Fantasmic dinner package reserved seating area? Would we be better off just sitting in the reserved handicapped seating in the back which we have done before and forgo the dinner package?

We haven't been since they changed the Fantasmic dinner package seating location...but I think the back rows in all sections are handicapped seating. With the dining package, you'll be in the reserved section, but still in the back if you need wheelchair seating or to avoid stairs. Those not in a wheelchair may be asked to sit in the next row forward.

If you have been before, and are familiar with how early to be in line to get decent handicapped seating, then there is no specific need for the dining package unless you wanted to cut your wait time a bit. I haven't found that the dinner package was particularly helpful or not helpful for accessing the handicapped seating.

Enjoy your vacation!
