Fantasmic dining

We just went to the fantastic show at 9 pm on Saturday the 26th. We ate at blue bayou at 6:30, got our seat cushions. By the time dinner was over, it was approximately 7:45. They recommended we get to the seating by 8:30, but we decided to get there earlier since it seemed like a madhouse.

The river belle terrace and blue bayou seating are combined, which I'm not sure I liked since the BB package was more expensive.

As for stroller parking, we were told to bring the stroller into the seating area and parked it in the last row by the rope as directed by a CM. we sat in the third row on our cushions. It was definitely more packed than our last trip in February when we got the RBT package for F!.

We sat in the same area in our cushions for the fireworks which were absolutely AWESOME! It was so much better than having to fight to get to another area. We did miss some of the lower events such as tinkerbell flying but it was still worth it to avoid the hassle of moving. They also blew "snow" over us with soap bubbles to simulate snow during on e of the finales of thes fireworks when they played let it go.

Well worth the price!

Does everyone who stays for fireworks remain seated for them? Or do people stand for fireworks?

People were standing by the rail between the end of fantasmic and the start of the fireworks. I was worried they were going to stand for the firework but then everyone sat down. I dont know if it was from CMs telling them to or just peer pressure from most of the rest of the people sitting

I'm so glad this was posted. I was going to ask if there was a way to reserve fireworks seating (my son is special needs and we will likely look from our hotel room most of the time, but I would like to watch them at least once from the park), and since we wanted to watch Fantasmic! anyway, this is the perfect solution.

Just as a bit of an FYI .... by Father is in his 70's and his mobility is okay for the most part but he does carry an oxygen tank. We had a TERRIBLE experience the last time we went to Fantasmic!. He literally got ran over by the crowds when we were leaving. The crowds exiting are crazy and someone in a hurry stepped on his tank (it's the pull kind) and tripped him and then the next 20 or so people stepped right on top of him. I've been kind of scared to go this year but we love Fantasmic! so much that even this would not make us miss it. I've lost a lot of sleep trying to figure out what to do but I think our plan will be to stay seated as long as we can after the fireworks are over and then just find a little spot to wait for a bit until the crowds calm down. So just have that thought in the back of your mind and maybe it will help your son if you just stop in a store or something and shop for a bit after the show instead of trying to leave with everyone.

That's horrible 5forMickey! I cant imagine people stepping on someone because they are in such a hurry to get where they are going!!

If there are two Fantasmic shows for the evening-what is the cutoff times for dinner packages? We definitely want to view the earlier show so I want to make sure I schedule my dining time appropriately!

At 5:00 pm I think for sure you could see the first show, you may even be able to chose. We ate at 4:30 and had the first showing.

(in fairness to the people -- I know it wasn't intentional it was just utter craziness)

I think you will really enjoy the evening.

I believe a 5:00 pm dining time will afford ample opportunity to get to the Fantasmic! dining area. I had a RBT meal at 4:30, rode several attractions, and hopped to DCA prior to arriving around 8:00 pm at the line up area. Granted, there were only two young adults in my party. I would recommend collecting a DCA FP for an attraction near the front of the park (Soarin' or TOT) prior to dinner for a return between 6-8 if. You can also obtain a FP before dinner for an attraction in DL and a FP for Buzz. This way you can have 3 short wait attractions before Fantasmic!

I was surprised how much I enjoyed watching DL Forever from the Fantasmic! viewing area. I had only seen a portion of Magical from this spot in the past. The effects during DL Forever really make the show incredible. I highly recommend seeing DL Forever from as many locations in the park as possible, on as many nights of your trip as possible. I was fortunate to view the show 5 times on my most recent trip (no higher altitude wind cancellations). DL Forever is much more than a fireworks show and is IMO the best Disney fireworks show I have seen. Better than the old Fantasy in the Sky, Magical, RDCT, and Wishes.

I believe the CM on the phone told me the cut off is 6pm...before 6 would be the first show, after 6 is the second..

Is arriving at 8 for a 9 pm show about right? We are visiting the week before Halloween and Fantasmic nights are limited so I am guessing it will be pretty crowded on our Saturday night. What time do the CM's usually let people in to sit for the first show at 9?

I sat in the BB F! seating before it was combined and easily got rail seating, which was nice, but to be honest the rail was in the way a bit. I was constantly shifting to avoid it. Last week we did the BBB F! again and decided that now that it's combined, we wouldn't rush for the rail. We sat in the back row on the left side of the section and it was actually a better view than the rail IMO. I imagine the area inbetween can be hit or miss depending on the people around you, but I was just as happy in the back.
We have BB Fantasmic! for Sunday 10-4. If we sit in the back on the left, how is the location for Fireworks? Will we be able to see Tinkerbell and Nemo fly?

Geemo

We were not able to see tink and nemo fly and we were sitting near the middle from the third row. The trees to the right are in the way.

We had reservations for BB at 6:30 and got tix for the first F! Show. I believe dinner reservations have to be before 7pm. Pirates was closed so that was a bummer but overall dinner was good. Those seat cushions saved our bottoms for sitting thru F! And the fireworks...

We sat in the back row right inside where they let us in, so to the left, but not all the way to the left. We could see the fireworks fine, but to be honest, we decided to leave right after they started since we had already seen them 3 nights before. However, I feel confident in saying you likely wouldn't be able to see Nemo or Tink from there.

That's awful, I'm so sorry to hear that! I can't believe people sometimes. :( I hope he was ok. Ill definitely keep that in mind. :(

Question: when you book the BB fantasmic package, do you have a choice over which Fantasmic show you want to attend? I would really like a 6-7pm dinner time but go to the later Fantasmic show. Is that possible? Thanks in advance.

Guests who dine at or before 6pm will get tickets to the first show. Anything after gets the second show...You should be okay as long as the time is after 6.

I think if you ask they are likely to allow the second show. It's less busy so as long as they aren't to capacity on their seating it should be fine to switch.
