Fantasmic Dining Package Question...

My boyfriend and I will be leaving in two weeks and are on the dining plan so we booked Mama Melrose for the Fanstasmic dining package for the day we are going to Hollywood Studios. Now here comes the question. About 2 months ago (after we had already made all our ADRs) 3 friends of ours decided to join us on our trip. They are not on the dining plan. I believe I heard somewhere that if you use the dining plan you have to sit in a designated section during fantasmic. Has anyone done the dining plan but ended up not using the tickets they give you. We want to sit in the same section as our friends. Also fantasmic now has two showings that night and I think we want to do the later showing. Give me your opinions on what to do please.

The reserved seating for Fantasmic is for people that are using the Fanstasmic Dining Package not the dining plan. As long as you all have the Fantasmic Dinner Package you will be sitting together.

If they are no on the Fantasmic Package with you, they will have to get in the general line with the other thousands of people to get into the theater. Also, the Fanstasmic Package is ONLY good for the first showing. It is not usable during the second show.
