Fantasmic Dining Package in February..is it necessary?

is the Fantasmic dining package necessary for Late February/early March? I would like to do Fanatasmic on our trip, but I hate the idea of long waits for Seats. But I hate the odd eating times the packages allow. PLus, I was hoping we could pop over to see the show as I don't want to spend one whole day in HS. (Not a favorite park of ours)

You could always try for a FastPass?

Although the biggest advantage of the package is that it gives access to the centre blocks of seats.

I am going in January, but the times seemed normal to me? I had an 11:45 and switched it earlier because of show times for other things, but was also offered a 12:30 for lunch.

We plan on getting the fantasmic pkg for our feb trip ... but only cause on the dining plan we get apps included. We prob won't even go to the show.
