Fantasmic Dining or just fast pass?

They just opened up a Fantasmic dining for our trip next month. Should we book a dining package, or just hope to get Fast Pass?

Also, thoughts on 1st or 2nd show?

First trip to DL - want to make the most of it!

9yo DD and I did the dining last Aug (out first trip) at Blue Bayou and liked it and would not hesitate to do it again. We loved getting the seat cushions and that made it a lot easier and comfortable to sit before and during the show as long as a great souvenir.

For the best views with the least amount of waiting, I would recommend a dining package. Least to most expensive in this order: HB, RBT, BB. Check the menus and choose according to your preference. HB has the most flexible menu -- you can order off the prix fixe menu or the regular menu, but you will pay the dining package price regardless. The viewing for all 3 sectiions is good to very good. The first show allows you to stay in your section after F! to view the fireworks on the ROA -- projections will be shown on the water screens and the music will be piped in. The second show is usually less crowded. If you want to see the show again, then use a free FP and see the second show.
And, if you want to "make the most" of your first DLR trip, book the WOC Dessert Party, too!

We always do a dining package if we’re seeing the first showing. The second showing, it doesn’t seem as necessary but still nice.
