Fantasmic Dessert Party

In the first packet that Disney sent was a list of different reception venues, and I noticed that you can have a dessert party of Fantasmic. I thought this would be really neat because I get to see Illuminations everytime I go but not Fantasmic. If anyone has done this for this wedding could you let me know what it was like and post some pics.

I havent seen much about FAntasmic dessert parties- I think it is because of
weather- if it is bad Fantasmic is cancelled where as Illuminations isnt usually cancelled d/t weather!

We were at disney recently and saw a DP set up for fantasmic. It is at the top of the Theatre there are 2 patios/viewing areas. That evening there were small tables set up with what looked to be candles in glass bowls with table cloths. Fantasmic is more likely to be cancelled due to the weather but it is an awesome show! We had our DP at Fantasmic.
We had to take a bus and were escorted in through the back way to the private patio. All our guests thought that it was really cool, they kept acting like they were VIP's, especially when it was over because everyone who had seen the show had to walk by us on the way out.
We thought about doing Illuminations but it just didn't seem like us and alot of our guests hadn't seen Fantasmic.
If the weather is bad and they do have to cancel the show, they set you up in a private room. I was a little nervous about it at first but my planner told me that they haven't had too many cancelations. Alot of the times if they think they have to cancel the show they move the DP inside but then they have gone on with show anyway so just the "eating" location changes. She assured me that either way our guests would have a great time.

I have a few pics they aren't the greatest but it will give you an idea.
We kept our decor simple and had about 6 different desserts plus the grooms cake.
It really was a great way to the end day!
