Tried searching but didn't find anything.

Has anyone done the Fantasmic Dessert Package..and is it worth the 59.00.

Is it possible to see Fantasmic without this package.

I have only been to DL once since Fantasmic was open and I couldn't see a thing.

You'll get "yes" and "no" answers to this question. Most people seem to think it is worth it, but not all. It depends on several factors. How busy is it when you are visiting? Does $59 pp in extra costs put a financial strain on your vacation budget? Is F! a special show you really enjoy? How much is a reserved seat worth as opposed to sitting on the ground or standing? (some don't mind "staking out" a spot for a few hours), Would you enjoy the goody box you get? It contains a lot of sugary sweet treats:cutie: We have done it and I felt worth it to experience. I wouldn't do it more than once every few years, though. Good luck deciding and have a fabulous trip.:)

Is it worth it? That depends on each individual. I've never done it, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't if I could afford it. ;)

I've seen Fantasmic 4 times but I can't remember if we went to the 1st or 2nd showings. Whichever one we went to, I don't think we've ever waited over an hour and never had a bad viewing area. We've never sat right up against the water, but I've never felt like I missed anything by not doing so.

We've watched Fantasmic from the Haunted Mansion side, the Mark Twain side, the Pirates side, and one time we actually sat up in the balcony before they started charging for it. We've been to DL during Spring Break, August a couple of times and November. The show was fantastic from each area we viewed it from and we didn't have a problem finding a place to sit on any of our visits. :goodvibes

Since Fantasmic is showing every night that we are going to be in the park during November, we are going to see it on one of the week nights this time. If you have a choice, you might consider doing the same.

Like everyone else said, some will say yes it's worth it some will say no. I've done it and it was NOT worth it to me, and many of the other people that same evening, that were not in my party were also disappointed. It was hard to see and the box of cookies and chair were not worth the 59 dollars.

However, I'm still glad we did it. It wasn't a horrible experience it just wasn't that great. You can watch fantasmic without paying the price, and in better spots but you'll have to sit for a few hours ahead of time to save your spot.

If you want to be treated special, and don't want to wait for hours to see the show then yes it is worth it. We did it in Feb. and it was a once in a lifetime treat, that said we probably won't do it again. It was a special treat and the next treat will be something different. Even my grumpy DH really enjoyed it and loved the special treatment. If you cant get back soon , or its a special ocasion definatly do it!

I plan to do it this November. I look at the 59.00 as paying for extra 'free time' instead of 'camping out for a spot' time. This will be my first trip to Disneyland and I do not know when – if ever – I’ll come back. I love the MGM version of Fantasmic so I know that I do not want to miss the original Disneyland version. To me it will be worth paying the 59.00 to have more time on rides/attractions that I’ve never done before and still get decent seats for the show. Now, if I ever do go back to Disneyland I probably will not pay for it again.

Is this something for kids or mostly something for adults? Is the price the same for any age range? I am thinking this might be something for us since my daughter doesnt like to sit still being a very active 3.5 year old.

It is a mix of both , a group of adults and 1 other family with toddlers, and us when we did it in Feb. My kids are older and would not want to sit out lat long for a spot either.

Just 20 minutes ago, I called to reserve Dessert Buffet/Premium Seating for Fantasmic on 9/16. Then, I hop on the board and behold..a new thread on this subject. I do hope it's worth it. Dh and I haven't watched this show for probably 8 years. Our kids have never seen it. Like several others mentioned, I don't think my kids would do well camping out early for a good spot. This will be our splurge for this trip.popcorn:: I did say that I wanted to do something this trip that we've never done before..this is it!
I'll post some photos and my thoughts on this when we return.

Make sure that you check in as early as they will let you. Seating is determined when you check in and where you want to sit. Some seats are better than others.
