Fantasmic cancelled through Feb 2

Wdwt is reporting Fantasmic at DLR is cancelled today through Feb 2… doesn’t sound planned?

Maybe something was damaged? That's a bummer that it will be down but if its a safety issue then I'd rather them be careful. Maybe with all the rain it's caused issues.

Fantasmic for the weekends of January 13 and 20 never appeared on the entertainment schedule.
Fantasmic for the weekend of January 27 appeared on the schedule, but was posted late (less than a month in advance) -- these showings have now been removed from the schedule.

Perhaps there was a minor refurbishment planned for these two weeks, but could not be completed due to weather.
January 27 is also the start of the 100th celebration and the opening of Runaway Railway.

Yesterday, Jan 13th, most of the Adventureland walkway from Jungle Cruise to Pirates and Riverboat Terrace was boarded up. You had to enter Frontierland to get to New Orleans Square. I could see how that would make it difficult to run Fantasmic. Might be related to Treehouse project. Also makes it a good time to work on Indiana Jones.

You are likely correct. Without both Adventureland and Frontierland walkways open it would be difficult (even dangerous from a crowd control prospective) to have Fantasmic
