Fantasmic and Star wars in the same night?

If fantasmic is at 7:30 and the Star wars fireworks are at 8 will I be able to do both? Or will i miss part of starwars if I try?

You will miss the sw show. most of it are projections on the Chinese theater and adjacent screens and can only be seen from center stage
You'll see some of the higher fireworks while yout exit F!

We got there at 7 with an 8 pm start for Star Wars and were right in the middle of the center, just in front of the 2 pillars. By 7:30 the crowd was pretty far back to where I doubt they could see the projections. If you want to see Star Wars grab some snacks and get there around 7. Everyone was sitting down and a CM was giving a history lesson for most of that hour which made the time fly by.

Last night, people started staking places out for SW at ~6:00 for an 8:00 show.

Given the location of F! and the view for SW, you really cannot do both.

Saturday we hit Club Villain at 5:15, got out of that and ran over to Fantasmic (We had the reserved seating from lunch earlier in the day) and got there maybe 10+ minutes before it started, then after leaving Fantasmic we were just going to leave the park but CMs were telling people the Star Wars fireworks started soon. We headed over to the left side of the Chinese Theater where the crowd wasn't terrible. You didn't get the best view of everything, but you could still see.

Eh, even so we had time to walk around some and try a few spots before the fireworks even started.
