Fantasmic and Star Wars Fireworks

Have not viewed Fantasmic in a long time. Have never viewed Star Wars fireworks.
One starts at 8:30, the other at 9. Thinking they cannot be done on the same night.
Where are the fireworks located? Best viewing spot?

We will be at HS during the day but then will leave to return in the evening.
We will be there next week.

I hate that. Last night it was 7 and 7:45, made it easily. We have made it on the 30 min mark but its really pushing it. Sitting middle top and leaving right at the ending, but just a mad rush.

As for just Star Wars-best is forward center IMO-usually a front area ahead of a taped walkway, or right up to the taped walkway. Off to the left is pretty good since fireworks are a bit to the right. Try to keep the tall spire(?) of GMR in view.

This is done on purpose so not everyone can watch both. There's not enough room for both shows to accomodate everyone. You could rush out from fantasmic but you won't get a real good spot.

The Star Wars show is heavy projections with fireworks as well. Best plan is to be there 45-60min prior to showtime for a spot near the front. It's done off the Chinese theater and to either side of it. However now near the middle of the park is two big towers (they don't stand out too much during the day) where crews are during the show. If you're behind these then your view is pretty decently obstructed

We were there last night, but skipped Fantasmic! In favor of getting a good position for Star Wars. We were just behind the taped lines and had a great view of the whole show. As a PP mentioned, this is just not "fireworks", but a great combination of projections, pyrotechnics, lights, and music. In order to really appreciate it you need to see them together.
