Fantasmic AND Galactic Spectacular?

Hi Everyone! We have a trip planned for December 10-15 and I’m in the early stages of planning. My husband and I will be taking our three sons. They will be 7, newly 3, and 11 months at the time of the trip.

Something that’s really stumping me is trying to figure out our Hollywood Studios day. Last trip, the only nighttime entertainment that was available was Fantasmic, which we LOVE. So, that’s non-negotiable. We HAVE to see Fantasmic! But we also want to see the fireworks and projection show because my husband is a HUGE Star Wars fan.

So, how do we do both? Is it possible? Do we have to use two nights to be able to see both shows?

We will be spending the whole day in HS on Tuesday regardless. Wednesday morning we’re going to rope drop Epcot to ride Frozen Ever After and then have breakfast at a quick service if we’re not able to get an Akershus reservation. Lunch at a quick service (or use the Mama Melrose + Fantasmic reservation) and an afternoon break. Then we’re going to head to Animal Kingdom in the afternoon and use our 3 FastPass+ reservations there and see Pandora.

Nighttime is wide open, so we can go back to Hollywood Studios on Wednesday to see one of the nighttime shows if necessary.

SO! Help! Is it possible to do both in one day? Recommended to split them up? Thanks!

We have the following reservations if that makes any difference:

Tuesday:
Mama Melrose + Fantasmic @ 12:40

Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine @ 7:40 (I will cancel this if it interferes with shows, it was just open, so I grabbed it because my boys love characters.)

Wednesday: Mama Melrose + Fantasmic @ 1:40

MOST nights schedules make seeing both impossible on the same evening.
So, going two nights will, for sure, allow you to see both.

(Also, in Dec. it MIGHT be that there will be a third show, Jungle Bell Jingle BAM!)

Thank you for the fast reply! I guess we will be doing two nights at HS so we can catch both shows. It seems to make the most sense, to me, to do Fantasmic with our dinner package on the day we will be spending in the park and to show up in time to get a spot for Galactic Spectacular on the day we have a free evening. Hopefully this works out for us!
