Fantasmic and Fireworks same night?

Heading down 11th-15th of April. 8:30 Fantasmic and 9:15 Fireworks are scheduled that night. How has it been getting a spot for Fireworks after Fantasmic? (I know where to sit and how to bolt to get out of the theater pretty quick.) But having never been at DHS for fireworks I have no idea how crowded they are - how hard it is to get a spot, etc.

1. Seen both shows is possible.
Many tens of thousands of guests have done so, with that amount of time between, since DHS has had fireworks in the recent months.

2. Surprisingly easy. The fireworks are H U G E!
Just pick a spot on Hollywood Blvd. or over near Exho lake.

We had no problem doing both in January. Don't stress about being in the perfect spot for the fireworks. They are awesome, you will have ok viewing without having to stake out a perfect spot before hand.

I'm here now. Just finished up dinner at Hollywood and Vine. I'll be doing the same from the F! area. I'll be happy to report back tonight.

Sounds great. Would love to be able to do both in the same evening and as long all of the green area is good - sounds like we should be in decent shape for somewhere in there.

We were just there on Friday and watch the fireworks from just in front of #1 on Robo's map above. In Feb we watched them from up near Sunset Blvd but this time wanted to be closer to the exit. They were just as good from further back and we had no problems hearing the music. We sat on a bench and watched everyone file out of the F! stadium with about 15-20 mins to go before the fireworks, so you should be good. The fireworks on Friday were at 9:30pm so 9:15pm will be cutting it close, but should work.

Just got back to the hotel. What an awesome day. Everyone has their own opinions of what makes things their favorite and that's ok.. I like hearing everyone's point of view. My favorite park is Hollywood Studios with MK a close second. Great shows and entertainment. I had more than enough time to leave fantasmic and watch the show.

We did in December and it was easy because of the late closing time, and according to more recent reports with earlier closing/fireworks times it still seems it should be possible
