Fantasmic and dinner, help please.

Hello, I have a dilemma and would appreciate some opinions.
I originally booked the Fantasmic dinner package for our HS day, on a day when there was only 1 show (only 2 the whole week).
They have now added a second show at 10:30 and I am tempted to abandon the first plan, and go to the second show. In order to do this, I would like to make a new dinner reservation since my first one was so darned early with the F! dinner package (3:35) and we were never to wild about that hour anyway. But the only offerings are at 8:15 at one restaurant and 8:50 at the other. Would having a reservation at 8:50 be a bad thing, in regards to getting okay seats at Fantasmic? Would I be cutting things too close, in regards to how long it takes to be seated at a restaurant at that hour, ordering, eating and getting out?
Should I just leave things be and go to the first show? Or abandon the F! dinner package in order to go to the second?
What would you do? Thanks for your thoughts!

I think the 8:50 is too close & you may be rushing through dinner. I would keep the original plan, this way if the first show is cancelled due to a storm, you still have a 2nd chance to see the show. Going by your original plan you can relax & not feel rushed.

I don't know why I am second guessing every little decision I've made. When I was 180 days out, I was content with everything. I'm going to drive myself bonkers before we even get there!

That's what "compulsive" Disney planners do! We drive ourselves crazy, but it's fun. You leave in 4 days! Have a great trip! I'll be there in 24 days!
