So we've been planning a March 2016, first time ever DL vacation since March 2015. I am so disappointed that we won't get the chance to see Fantasmic (I even have it in the word art shirt design I created that is my profile pic). OK, breathe, and I'm over it. Anyway, is there going to be a replacement night time show or just nothing at all? For a WDW vet, Disney without a night time show seems so anti-climactic! I searched the forum, but didn't see anything. Thanks all for the info!

Paint the night and Disneyland Forever fireworks will still likely be running daily, and if not daily for sure on weekends which would be the same as the fantasmic schedule that time of the year if it were running anyway.

You are planning to see World of Color, right? It's pretty great.

That's at DCA, right? Yes, I definitely have it on the list!

That's too bad that it will be closed when you are there as we love the DL Fantasmic more than the WDW one.

I agree with the OP and WoC is a must see at DCA.......it's one of my favorite night time shows at any of the Disney parks.

You will love DL and DCA as there is so much to do and see in each park.

I highly recommend getting PH tickets as the parks are so close together and hopping is so easy there compared to WDW. Plus the FP systems in each park are not connected so you can hold FP's in each park at the same time.

Have a great trip!

When in March are you going? My guess is that DLR will start their Spring Break Season sometime in early March. At that point, fireworks and the parade should be presented nightly. WoC is almost always presented nightly (unless its down for refurbishment). Normally, during the non-peak season, DLR only presents fireworks on weekends (Fri-Sun); we don't yet know what PtN's schedule will be during the non-peak season. So, if you're going before the Spring Break Season starts (we won't know when it starts until sometimes in late January or February), WoC may be the only weekday nighttime entertainment.

.....as one who does not understand the value of Fantasmic....these are my magic in the night moments...lights coming on in Radiator Springs, looping around DCA and then coming back to see Cadillac range in full "Wonderful World of Color"...... Riding autopia at night, the billboards all lit up, the darkness in the corners, the brilliance of the subs, its a whole new world in that corner of tomorrowland.....riding dumbo at sunset......watching the fireworks while riding thunder mt, or viewing the bursts of color thru the silhouettes of pine trees in Critter country....there is so much to do at night in Disneyland!!!!.....that we tend to forget because we are exhausted by day's end or are resigned to keep that pad of cement in ROA of warm for an hour.

Figment - Probably March 12-14 at the parks.
Chickapin - Thanks for the ideas. Those sound great and I will definitely add them to my list. Great!
