If we are on the dining plan, do we still need to pay for the Fantasmic dinner package ADR when booking?

We had to give them our credit card # or Debit card # but they did not charge any fees to it . But they will if you don't show up or cancle so many days out not sure how many days out.They went over it with me just ask when you book.

You will need to cancel 2 full days in advance to avoid the $10 per person charge. For example if you are dining on May 23rd you will need to call no later than May 20th to cancel the package to avoid the charge. I just booked today and the rep made this very clear.

Does anyone know if there are specific "times" you have to make your reservation for, in order to receive the Fantasmic package? And just to confirm, you need to do this on the phone correct? If I have an ADR for that night, that doesn't mean I can get the Fantasmic tickets automatically, correct? I'm guessing I have to call to give them my CC number....

You must call and ask specifically for the Fantasmic pkg. Regular ADRs at the three restaurants are easy to get, but the Fantasmic pkgs are much harder. When you call, have the CM email the confrmation to you. It will say something like, 'Mama Melrose Ristorante Italiano Fantasmic at Disney Hollywood Studio DM'. If it doesn't have the word 'Fantasmic' in it, then you have just a regular ADR, not the Fantasmic pkg. Also with the Fantasmic pkg they always ask for a credit card guarantee (even if you have the DDP). Most pkgs are early 3:30pm-5pm.

Fantasmic Dining Package is not prepaid for anyone, dining plan or not. Everyone booking it does have to give a credit card number to hold the reservation, which will not be charged unless you don't cancel and you dont' show up.
