Fantasia Worth Extra $10

Am staying at the Movies solo and was wondering whether or not it is worth paying an extra $10 per night to stay there or is there another building worth staying in? Have stayed at the Toy Story section the last time, so would like a different area. Was wondering how far a walk it is from Dalmations to the main building, food court, bus stop and the Ducks pool?

I don't think it is worth $10 but I guess I don't mind walking that much. We stayed in the Dalmations building and it really was not much further than the Fantasia buildings.

I guess it is just a personal choice. For a week it is not worth $70 for me to have to walk a little shorter distance even if my feet are killing me.

FYI - It is now $12 per night extra at Fantasia.

I don't think it's worth it. For one thing you are not guaranteed a Courtyard view, so you could be at Fantasia looking at the parking lot.

The couple times we have been at Movies, we have been in Mighty Ducks. It was actually closer for us to walk to Music Food Court and Bus Stop from Mighty Ducks and was very convenient to do so. Except for check-in and check-out, we didn't even go to the Movies area.

Toy Story looks really fun and is close to the food court. The only area that is really far away from everything is Love Bug.

Its not worth it for us, not only the location but the theming. My kids love the Mighty Ducks and Toy Story is their second choice so thats what we always request. IMO, the resort isnt very spread out at all and when staying in MD, you are just as close to the main building at ASMU.

That's what I thought, but wanted to ask.

We stayed in Toy Story when we went in 2001 and found it a quick walk to everything. I asked for a room on this upcoming trip to be in either Toy Story or 101 Dalmations.
