Posted this on the general planning forum but then realised there was a UK forum so will probably get more responses here :)

Was just wondering if anyone knows of any websites where I could get a cheap bum bag/fanny pack.

I hate having to carry a handbag or backpack so would love a bum bag but can't seem to find one cheap enough.

Many thanks :)

I bought mine in the AKL gift shop - a Disney one and I only use it in WDW!
If you want more style Kipling do a nice one.:surfweb:

we got two through Amazon! When I say WE I mean DH, I don't do bumbags!!:) DH has one with a bottle holder pouch thingy in it. I am totally hands free and he is my packhorse:) I believe these are a standard joke in USA but haven't told DH about that!!!!

I have a kipling multiple - it's a small shoulder bag that can go across body and it also converts to a bum bag - best of both worlds!!

I used one of these for the first time in Nov. I loved it and won't use anything else from now on. It lots of different size pockets and I was able to fit all my stuff in. I love that it can be used as a bag or a bum bag! :thumbsup2

I don't care what people think of me as I find a bumbag the most practical thing to use at a theme park.

I think we bought our last ones at Millets.

P.S. I was stunned the first time I heard the American name for them. :lmao:

DH has one that will take loads! Bottle, camera, plastic mac's, firstaid kit, wet wipes, money, the works!! I made sure I got him a huge one! :lmao:

I don't care what people think either (when in Florida anyway), I have a whole different wardrobe just for WDW that I wouldn't wear at home! Comfort is the way forward in that sun and heat..

I'm another vote for them in Orlando (but only ever Orlando) they are so practical. Plenty when you are over there but if looking for something cheap and as stylish as it is possible for a bumbag ever to be there are some 2012 olympics ones on sale on the Olympic merchandise site. Would work for me this year :)

I too would never be seen dead wearng those on my normal day to day basis but have been looking at buying one for our disney trip. I hate the way the across the body bags feel on my skin(straps rubbing) if I wear a vest or strapless top.
I was looking at the string backpacks but don't like not being able to see my bag so maybe a bumbag would be the best solution, especially this year when we will be on the dining plan.
All it needs to hold is my phone, camera, wallet and maybe a small water bottle(boots sell 350ml bottles, which I am planning on taking and re-flling with the free ice water available from CS locations)
