I was thinking of sending my parents to Catal for a nice dinner, but I just wanted to check and see if someone liked one of the restaurants at one of the Disneyland hotels better. I'm looking for something fancy and a little bit different (and a break from fast-paced noise and frenzy). What do you think? popcorn::

My husband & I have become addicted to a night at Brennans every time we go to Disneyland which is about 2-3 times a year. But I have to warn you it isn't quiet. Also make sure you can get advance reservations as I have seen very long waits. We are people watchers and getting seated on the upper area is quite fun. We like to figure out what we are going to order by looking down at the people eating below. :goodvibes
We used to to to Steakhouse 55 before it changed names and it was good but it seems to be going a bit down hill the last 2 times we eat there over the past few years. It is wonderfully quiet in there though. Very relaxed and a huge difference from the fast pace outside.
Good Luck!

I like Napa Rose at the GCH. I have friends who enjoy Catal, but I'm not a fan of Mediterranean food. Napa Rose is very nice, the service is wonderful, and the food is fantastic.

Hook's Pointe (behind DLH) was an elegant dining experience with subtle decor in Disney theming - excellent food!

Napa Rose in GCH is very fancy (and very expensive). For a fun experience you could request seats at the chef's counter. They get to watch the chefs work, and the chefs talk to them and sometimes give them little extra tastes of things... explain what they're doing... make recommendations, etc. Kind of like your own Iron Chef experience!

I agree with Avalon, the chefs counter at Napa Rose is a wonderful experience (but also very expensive!) We ate there last month and it was one of the best meals I have ever had.

ok ill ask here my dh just asked me (can the voutchers im getting be used at any other restrants in the hotles or just the charcter meals?)
