I couldn't find it on the main WDW site, so I thought I'd ask here.
I don't know if you all remember the "Full House" episode where Michelle is "Princess for a Day." I have a twofold query. First, is that a real thing, that a girl gets chosen as the official "princess" each day, or was that just a gimmick for the show. Second, is this something they would have at Disneyland in California as well, if it is also at WDW? I imagine if it was just a gimmick for the show, we could include it in their trip to Disneyland in this fic a friend and I are considering writing, anyway.
For some background, in the Sam series that my friend Paul has written (RKORadio on www.fanfiction.net - check out the whole Sam series there if you want), the younger Tanner girls befriend this wild, very troubled young girl and wind up being like the family she never had, because Sam/SAmantha has been neglected so much by her real family
Well, Paul and I figured that it would be nice to mention her being "Princess for a Day" at Disneyland once; and a few people have said they love the series (which spans into Samantha's adulthood) and would like to see Samantha as Princess for a Day. Well, if it was just something at WDW, we can have their vacation be to Disneyworld and excuse her friend's referring to that as someone who just indiscriminantly interchanges the names Disneyland and Disneyworld. (I know people who do on ocassion.) But, if the "Princess for a Day" exists at Disneyland in California, too, or if it was just a gimmick, then we can write it (whenever it gets written, might be a while) taking place at Disneyland.
Thanks for your help, and I hope you take time to check out some of my stories too, if you're a FH fan. Like Paul, I prefer the book universe, as it's more realistic, but a few of my stories are in the TVU. I write under the pen name Me.
