We got back from our first visit to RPR on 6/9. we were there for 6 nights and had a lovely vacation!
We were in room 1729 and had a grand view of the Hulk coaster!
I absolutely loved the RPR, the decor and service were top notch.
We dined in Islands twice, once for breakfast and once for dinner. Both were really good.
My two sons had a blast at the swimming pool. I personally enjoyed a couple of blue hawaiins and margaritas at the pool! Of course my husband was watching the boys!
We spent 2 days at IOA and a day and 2 days at USO. We never had to wait in line for anything, that was so cool!
We also spent a day at Seaworld, that is a lovely park. I just loved Shamu and the show Believe, it was fabulous!
And of course this was our first trip to Universal. Let me first say that we had a great time and we all enjoyed ourselves! But, I am in love with the magic at Disney and in the back of my mind I kept comparing the two.
This was bad of me, I know, and I really tried not to, but seriously, how can you not?
The rides were fun, but I didn't feel the atmosphere that I feel at Disney and that dissappointed me a bit. But I didn't let that spoil my trip. I got over it and tried to immerse myself in the Universal experience!
I personally liked the Spiderman ride and the Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue, that was an awesome show!
The food at Universal is impressive also.
We ate at NBA City, the mahi mahi there is delicious, I must admit that I was really not expecting such good food there! I was pleasantly surprised! My boys got the chicken strips which they enjoyed. Husband got ribs, he liked!
We also ate at Hard Rock Cafe, very good, Margaritaville, delicious, Nascar Cafe, and Confisco Grill with Spiderman.
My boys, who are 11 and 4, really liked the Spiderman breakfast. They took lots of pictures with Spidey and had a chat with him!
All in all the vacation was wonderful, lots of relaxation and family bonding time, which is what we went for!
I would go back, but maybe just for 1 day at each park, especially with the FOTL, you can do everything in each park in 1 day!
