We have been coming to WDW for over thirty years and we have so many traditions we have shared in. We use to go to Epcot and buy sweets from every country there. Eating the cookies... chocolates and candies we would bring home and remembering our vacation and what country they were from. We would always make it a must to go on COP in MK as both my husband and I remember this from the New York World's Fair when we were kids. Even though, through the years the kids would outgrow the interest ... looking for other attractions....I can sit there and see my parent's who are now gone...my kids as toddlers to adults and the child within all of us. Counting the days to buying a dole whip and taking our place in Liberty Square to watch the parade! :grouphug:

We're going to start a tradition of going to Chef Mickey's & getting the picture they take. It will be fun to compare the changes in the family over the years!!

Hi Erin...we are in New Market...right next door!
Going to Chef Mickey's for our first dinner in the World...is a tradition we began last October on our first family trip...also starting and ending our vacation with visits to MK...how magical!! I will never forget the looks on my kiddies faces while watching Wishes.

DizzyBell...it's so wonderful to relive all those great memories...I love Disney so much because of all the amazing family times I had there growing up...now my kids love WDW as much as me...it is such an amazing place to be with the people you love.

Thanks for the thread!

We've only been once and our first ride was IASW, so I'm hoping to make that a tradition everytime we go. Thankfully, it looks like it will be reopened by the time we go back this year. We are doing our first character meal this time at Chef Mickey's, if it goes well, that might be another tradition to add. I just hope that we can make many many traditions and keep going back year after year after year after year........well you get the picture. :cloud9:

We too decided to start doing a movie at downtown disney, as a tradition!

We always do a character bkfst at cape may! The kids love it!

And of course, the pictures taken at certain locations throughout the parks! This is a relaly cool way to see how they have grown over the years!

We go to Chef Mickey's Dinner the first day we arrive (13 times...and counting). My daughters also get the candy flowers at the Japanese shop in Epcot every single time.
