Family Suites at ASMusic question

I know that there are some of the family suites that are renovated at All Star Music. We are planning a visit in early Novmeber 2020. We are three adult women are are looking a the Family Suites....very helpful to have 2 bathrooms and individual beds and a great value for the cost. My question is if we want a renovated suite should we call Disney directly to see if we can book one or will that not work and it is first come first serve? I know they can not "guarantee" rooms choices but I'm wondering if its worth trying. Thanks for any help!

I called and asked about when they were going to be completed. I was told they were scheduled to be completed by October 2020. I have reserved one for December 2020.

You cannot book specific rooms at any resort. The best you can do is call and have a "renovated room" request placed on your reservation. If you find the room you are assigned is not one of the recently renovated ones, you can always ask a front desk CM if they can switch you to one. They will try their best to accommodate you.
