Family Potrait

We are staying at Poly in June. We will be there celebrating my parent's 50th anniversary, and my DH and I will be celebrating our 20th. I would like to get a family potrait done. Does anyone know if this is possible or do we have to wing it while we are there.

Last fall they started taking photopass portrait shots at the Grand Floridian. I don't know if this would work for your group or not.

Grand Floridian Photo Shoot - You can arrange for a private photo session with a Disney PhotoPass photographer at the Grand Floridian Resort. The session includes around 40 photos taken around the picturesque resort and its beach. Pricing is as follows: $49.95 for a Disney's PhotoPass card containing your photos which can then be added to your disneyphotopass.com account; $124.95 which will get you a PhotoCD with your images. If you choose to get the PhotoCD, you can save your receipt and CD and exchange it later on during your vacation for a new PhotoCD containing all of your Disney's PhotoPass images. The only catch is you won't be able to make enhancements to any of the photos; or bring the required proof that you pre-ordered the PhotoCD and the cost is only $25. Reports from guests who have participated in the photo sessions are overwhelmingly positive. Call 407-824-1700 to make reservations up to 30 days in advance or for additional information. These sessions may be extended to other deluxe level resorts in the future

This past Christmas, our entire family, grandkids and all, was at Disney and we did the GF photopass shoot. You have about 20 minutes to take as many pictures, of family groups, and individual shots as they can. In all they ended up taking 60 different pictures of us all around the GF upstairs, lobby, and several places outdoors. They really came out well and worth the money IMO. I would recommend it.

As a general rule (although there have been good specific answers given here already) if you are looking for a special service and don't know what's available the concierge of any nice hotel is a good one-stop information center. You can call ahead of time and ask for help making arrangements or for less planned things you can just show up at the desk and ask. We've gotten concert tickets, restaurant recommendations and reservations, a shuttle to the local shopping mall and 2 am pepto bismol!

I'm totally in love with the concierge at one hotel we frequent. He can find ANYTHING!
