Family Pictures

Has anyone done the family picture thing with a photographer?

If so, can you tell me a little about how it worked? Where you had them done? How many they take? Cost? My mom really wants to try this for our Grand Gathering.

Are you asking about the PhotoPass or the Disney Fine Art Photography? Last December, my husband and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary and chose to go with the Disney Fine Art Photography. The plans start at $310. This gives you a dedicated photographer for 1 hour at 1 location. We chose two locations: EPCOT and the Grand Floridian. We had photos taken of just the two of us as well as with our daughter. The photographer, Rick, was great! He kept us entertained, engaged, and made the entire experience fun! The photos came out great! We are very happy with their service and the quality of the photos. Next time I have a special occasion, I will definitely hire them again. I never knew about this service. Once you get the package for 1 hr, do you then pay separate for the pictures, or can you obtain the pictures electronically?

Many of the wedding photographers in the area will also come on property to do family shots at the hotels.

As an example, Randy Chapman will do this.

We had him for our wedding and he'll be coming out on our next trip to take shots of our family. It's more reasonable than Disney's photogs too.
