Last time we cruised we did not bring my mum with us and we were a family of four. We had our own table for dining. This time with five I'm wondering if we have a chance of getting our own dinner table again or if we will get the chance to meet new people and share a table?
Any thoughts?

Cruised last january w/family of 5 - we requested our own table.
We ended up not getting one.
It actually worked out better We were seated with another family of 5 and kids enjoyed each other company as well as adults.

This past January we sailed with 6 family members and had our own table without asking. I missed sitting with people I did not know. That has been some of our best memories in past cruises.

We got a table of 4 for the 4 of us, disappointed we didn't have table mates.

Our last cruise, we were seated at a table for 6 for our family of 5. I didn't mind, though. We interacted with the table next to us quite a bit. The kids talked alot from table to table.

If you want to be seated as a family of 5 alone, put in that request with DCL. After boarding, go to "Dining Changes" to see whether or not your request was honored. If not, ask again to be seated with just your family. THere is an excellent chance that they can meet your request.

Ok,
So if you ask to be seated as a family of 5 then you'll most likkley have a table for six. What size table would you be seated at if you wanted table mates? I can't seem to remember how big some of the tables were and how many they seated.

Thanks
Martina
