Can you not stay in a 4 person room if you have a family of 5 if the 5 includes a 1 year old?

Two adults
8 year old
4 year old
1 year old

The system is only showing me rooms that fit 5 but I always thought infants didn't count towards a room total?

TIA

One child under the age of three doesn't count toward occupancy. So two adults plus two children age three or older and a child under the age of three equals a family of four plus one.

You may need to call to book a room that sleeps four.

It's a known issue with the online system. You have to leave the 1 yr old out when you search.

The one year old can be left off because they don’t need a magic band or park tickets. The little one one is also not charged at buffets

Make sure than when you select ages you are selecting infant for the infant.
Its my understanding everyone needs to be on the reservation no matter age.
Also the infant will receive a magic band which is a nice keepsake even if they don't wear it.
I just put in at POP in July 2 adults, 8yr old, 4 year old, and infant and it worked fine and showed availability.

You do need to count your infant in the reservation but I'm sure it won't be a problem if you book for 4 and then add him/her after. We made a reservation while I was pregnant and we had to name the baby "Baby" on the reservation until he was born.

We have 6 people, but 2 are under 3, and when I put all 6 in it does show me the rooms that sleep 5 (plus an infant). So putting in 4 plus the infant should show you all of the rooms that sleep 4, we’ve never had a problem. Don’t just book a room that sleeps 4 and leave the infant off. It’s either a glitch and try a different day or different browser, call, or book the room online and then call to add the infant. Unless something very new happened when they made all of the FP changes, this is not a frequent problem I’ve read about on here, which makes me think it typically works and you’re having an odd issue or don’t have the kids ages correct showing one under 3.
