Join the club, we're family of 6, we've had to book 2 staterooms on every cruise we've been on. We do one veranda and then an inside stateroom across the hall for the teenagers. The teenagers could care less about having a veranda and it's a little cheaper than doing 2 connected verandas (only time we see our teens is at dinner). I just have to go to guest services and get an additional card so that I can get into my veranda room because technically I'm in the inside room even though I do not sleep there. You must be doing one of the classic ships because I think on the Dream class the max capacity for the largest stateroom is only 5.
