I want to stay at the All-Sports Resort and there is a 4 person limit. I don't want to get two rooms. Can my family of five still stay there? 2 adults, 3 children: 13, 11, & 5 years old.

Those rooms are very small! We stayed there in 2000, we are a family of five, and at the time my kids were 4, 7, and almost 10. We got and needed two rooms. That was the trip that convinced us to buy into DVC. A family of five becomes a big issue with hotel rooms we have found.

look at POR - it's a moderate but it has a trundle bed that would work for a 5 year old.

Unfortunately, no they will not allow 5 in a room at the value resorts. The occupancy limit is 4 or 5 if one person is a child under age 3 who can sleep in a pak-n-play crib. As just stated though, those rooms are awfully small and you would be much more comfortable elsewhere. Your on sight options for 5 if all over age 3 would be POR in the AB section with a trundle bed,a junior suite that accommodates I think 6 at CSR,Any of the deluxe resorts will accommodate 5 with either 2 full or queen beds and a daybed,FW cabins - they accommodate 6 with a separate bedroom that will have either a full or queen (sorry can't remember) bed and a set of bunk beds and then a murphy bed in the living room. You'd get a kitchen (can save $$ on meals) and 2 TV's this way as well as a deck to sit on at night and I've seen these go for as little as $144.00 per night with a discount code at times. Or a 1 bedroom villa at the DVC resorts (CRO from what I understand will not book a 1bdrm villa for 5 if all over age 3 but if you rent points from a member MS does allow it - also if you rent the points you will not have the additional bedding and towels for the 5th person, though it is allowed to have 5 people) or a 2bdrm villa at the DVC's which will sleep 8 and can be booked thru CRO.

Beyond that ....you're talking suites at the deluxes and then you're getting way off track of staying inexpensively.

Your best bet is really the POR with the trundle,2 connecting rooms at a value or renting points from a DVC member for a villa.

Best of luck to you;)

When they say no additional bedding, they mean you will get one king sized bed and one queen sleeper sofa. No rollaway, no day bed, no other bed. Plus you only get four bath towels.

You may want to check into staying in a FW cabin. They sleep 6 & you'll get a full kitchen. Even if you only eat breakfast in your room it can save a lot of money - possibly making the cost similiar to staying at the value resort without kitchen facilities.

We have stayed there numerous times with our family of 5 & love it.
