We are family of 5 ( 2 adults and 3 kids). We are going next summer/autumn and my youngest DD will be 3 years old by then.

Childrens under 3 stays and plays free. Our youngest is very small for her age and still could sleep in the baby cot or our bed.
But when I try to check the price online booking system gives me only DLH family room or room at Santa Fe and the prices are higher than with 2kids and 1 infant.

What is our best deal?

- Waiting for Flash Sales only to get nice deal for DLH (if family rooms applicable to FS)

- Buying Annual Passes for the whole family. In that way we could stay at Explorers for example and still have EMH.
Are EMH for AP holders for 20th Anniversary only?

- Could we book any DLP hotel for 2 adults and 2 children and add our 3 years old on arrival day. Childrens under 3 stays and plays free ans she still could sleep with us. But I think this is not the option as it could be against the DLH rules.

you definitely can't add your 3-year old to a room onsite where there are already 4 guests in the room over the age of 3. Theres no way you can do that.

Family rooms are not usually included in any flash sale promotion unfortunately. I'd go the AP and offsite route, as for every adult (ie over age 6) AP you buy, you get a childs one free from promoparcs or cemultiavantages. Fantasy passes give you access to EMH even if staying offsite, those are one of the advantages of them :).

Thanks Elaine. :)

We are planning to go to DLP in November, so there are chance to get APs.

But I am new to AP and it seems so complicated.
My youngest DD will be still 2 years old. Could I still get her AP this time or she must be 3 years old to get it?

they will let you get the free AP changed to a permanent AP for your 2-year old when you are doing yours at the same time :).

Unless you book one of the family rooms, you will have to book 2 rooms in the other hotels. We are in exactly the same position - 2 adults and 3 children and my youngest will be just turned 3. We would all easily fit in one room but the rules are you are not allowed more than 4 to a room :confused3 We have booked 2 rooms at the Cheyenne - hopefully, interconnecting - so will have plenty of room to put our souveniers!!
