I have a family member and spouse on a DVC reservation for an upcoming trip. They also have a room/ticket package at a non-Disney resort, and will spend time at both.

Will they be able to take advantage of all the deluxe resort perks, such as early entry, extended hours, and the upcoming LLMP 7 day window?

If they are on your DVC reservation they should be fine to do all of the same perks that you are entitled to.

Just ensure that their tickets are purchased/linked to the same email/MDE account that you are using on the reservation.

There could be issues reusing the same Guest names here but we need more information. Do they have multiple MDE accounts? And since you you mentioned that they are listed on your DVC reservation are they part of your MDE or just linked as Friends and Family?

They each have one MDE account.
They are linked as Friends and Family. Idk what is meant by "part of my MDE"

Part of your MDE would be if you had them listed listed under your MDE account and not linked in your Friends & Family list.

They can only be linked to (1) resort reservation at a time in a given time frame.

We need more specific details concerning their Package. The hotel portion of their package can't be linked in their MDE accounts but their ticket entitlements need to be linked to their MDE account(s).

Thanks for your replies and help!

Hmmmm. It's sounding like it may not work. I am not sure what all is linked to their MDE accounts, but will definitely look into it!

Do they show up on your friends & family list & did you select them as room occupants from that list? Then you’re fine. Even if you didn’t do that, just stop at the front desk on arrival to have their magic bands reset for your room. Or they can get plastic cards if they don’t have magic bands. The MB or cards will prove they are guests in your room. Their off site accommodations won’t have anything to do with them accessing g your resort & benefits. As far as Disney is concerned, they are resort guests, they won’t know anything about them having an offsite room.

Thank you. What I'm worried about is that both of the reservations show up in my MDE. So Disney "knows" about both reservations, so to speak.

I do this all the time with friends - you can be on multiple Disney room reservations simultaneously. The issue that comes up is charging to the magicband. They need to visit the front desk or call to make sure it charges to their resort room and not yours!

Thank you, I'd really like to be able to book all of our LLMPs together, obviously.

I'm concerned that my MDE shows both of their resort reservations, but not their tickets. It seems like the ticket part might be important when it comes to booking LLMPs.

Also, the tickets were purchased as a package with the non-Disney resort, so I'm worried that the tickets are linked to that resort, and would therefore not be eligible for early LLMP booking, extended evening hours, etc.

Sorry, I thought you said they were at an off site hotel. I didn’t know off site hotels show up in MDE, except maybe swan, dolphin & reserve. Which I don’t really consider as off site.

And yes, I agree with you about their tickets. You definitely need a valid ticket to purchase LLs. I *think* they’ll be OK extended evening hours tho, if they have a card or MB associated with your resort. They’ll already be in the park. When the MB or card gets scanned at a ride, they’re looking for the resort. So just make sure they have a separate card specifically for your resort that they use for EEH.

Have they added their tickets to MDE? Sometimes tickets are bought but not associated with a profile properly! Worth an ask.

I have an AP and so do my friends that I often do this with so I don't have experience with the package situation.

The OP’s guests are off-site so the only charging available would be to the OP’s onsite resort room.

So just make sure they have a separate card specifically for your resort that they use for EEH.
All MBs or ticket media simply “read” what is linked to the MDE account. They aren’t linked directly to a specific resort or ticket.

The room charges don't concern me too much.
The LLMPs most definitely do, because I want to be able to all ride together.

If I'm understanding you right, if their tickets are linked to their MDE, and both resorts are showing on their MDE, I should be good to go as far as booking LLMP 7 days in advance?

They need to figure out why their tickets aren’t showing. Once the tickets are there, I think you should be good for LLMP.

I am aware how it works. My point is they need something, magic band or card, to link to show they are staying at an on site, deluxe resort to participate in evening extra hours.

I understood but I wanted to provide clarity for OP and anyone else who reads this thread.

Following up on this to relay my experience.

The package tickets dropped at 5 days out, and I was able to then book the off-site guests LLMP at 5 days (due to them also being on the on-site reservation).

So, they lost out on the 7 day advantage, but at least got a 5 day window.
