We are arriving on a Sunday -- a big group of us.... and I was wondering where we could have a character meal at that night. We don't want to go to the parks that day so it would have to be at a resort. Let me know you think and what kind of food types are at your suggestion.

Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary or the buffet at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian are two character meal dinners that won't require park entrance. You'll have a view of the castle which can add to the excitement. Both offer standard American fare. Both are roughly $20-25 per adult. For a large group be certain to make a PS well in advace to be sure your party can be accomodated.

You should check - I think Swan and/or Dolphin have a character dinner too. We've never eaten there, but I think I remember one from some reading I did last year.
