Family Magic Tour

I have not done this specific tour but I've not had a bad experience at any tour I have done and dont' recall anyone else saying any have been bad.

Thank you :) We've done other tours too and have enjoyed many of them, I was just curious about this one as 2 of my kids are older than the age that it's geared towards so I wanted to be sure that they would still enjoy it! Thanks again!

We did it a couple years ago when our girls were 11 and 7. We loved it. A fun scavenger hunt through MK with a few surprises. Well worth it.

Hello! We did it last April - my kids were 11 and 9 at the time, so maybe a little older than some of the other children. There were also groups with adults only.

We really enjoyed the tour - feel free to pm me if you want spoilers! It was fun and silly, and we enjoyed our guide. However, having said that, it "felt" about 15 minutes too long, if that makes sense.

The only other thing I will add, since my kids were on the "older" end in the tour, there were a few times when the guide didn't give them a turn for an activity, even though they were participating in the activity, while some of the younger children were given multiple turns. It wasn't a big deal, and my kids behaved appropriately, but I could see they were a little disappointed and I felt they like should have had a turn too even if they were a little older.

ETA: again, that was just our guide, so that was just our experience - yours may be different!

Someone posted a video of their tour on youtube. While there are slight changes from time to time, you can get an overall feel for the tour and decide if your kiddos would enjoy it.

We took a family we traveled with who had never been to Magic Kingdom and we all enjoyed it. The kids were 8, 7 and 5. I don't think the walking would have worked for any younger than age 5 (it was March but it was quite warm outside) and I don't think that above age 8 would have enjoyed it in our group. We got to meet Peter Pan and Mickey Mouse which was fantastic. The kids were very engaged in the scavenger hunt and the parents all followed behind and watched the kids so engaged with the tour guide. We got a Disney Chase visa discount for the tour and it was a great price for a great experience.

This is always my fear as mine are 10, 11, 12! Thanks for your experience!!

Thank you everyone, this is exactly the type of feedback I was looking for! I truly appreciate your taking the time to help!!

But again, this might have just been an oversight on the guide's part and it was just a few instances, but I wanted to mention it since you said your kids were a bit older. And I'm sure each guide is different! Definitely a good value and overall, lots of fun!

I did this with a friend for our 30th birthdays. Being Disney nuts and not afraid to be a little silly it was awesome. I am now booking it for my kids and nieces and just hope its a slightly different premise so I have some variety, but if not I will still be happy. We saw Peter Pan and Wendy at the end and got on a ride or two with the group. Highly recommend this tour.

Thanks for the info! I love hearing how people felt about the tours!!
