I'm wondering if anyone has done this tour. We'll be in Disney during August. DS will be 7 and DD will be 10. I'm thinking about doing this as a family activity.

We did it and loved it. I would highly recommend it as long as your family members are willing to get a little "Goofy" it's great.

This was one of the highlights of our trip, we all just loved it! We will definitely be doing it again on the next trip. I highly recommend it! :goodvibes

Your kids would be the perfect age for this tour. We went in Jan '06 and DD5 loved it! She was just learning to read, but the bigger kids got to take turns reading the clues during the scavenger hunt. DH and I also had a blast!

DS3 hated it. He didn't get the story and couldn't stand walking right past all the rides (even though we did the tour on our 5th vac day.) Another 2-3 yr old on our tour hated it as well. We also had two teenagers (maybe 15) on our tour who were good sports coming along with little brother, but you could tell they'd rather be doing something else. They were embarrassed by the silly games and the scavenger hunt was definitely below their level. I'm pretty sure ALL the adults and the kids ages 4-12 loved this tour!

Our Peter Pan was AMAZING! He was totally hilarious. He talked nonstop the entire time he was with our group including the entire showing of Mickey's Philharmagic. Poor Wendy could hardly get a word in!

We'll be doing this next Sunday the 14th!! We're super excited and I'll post pics and a report on how it was :)

What is this?

It is a guided tour of the Magic Kingdom focusing on families with kids. Your guide sets out a 'mission' and you have to follow clues around the Magic Kingdom to complete the mission. We had to find Captain Hook's hook. During the tour the guide works to get everyone involved by asking questions doing silly things like making you talk like your favorite character and playing Follow the Leader. Nothing embarrassing. At the end we got to hang out w/ Peter Pan and Wendy and the kids got a simple little special surprise and certificate. It was great!
