I am thinking about doing this for my 4 year old. I assume I would need a ticket as well because I will need to be with him for supervision and whatnot.

HOWEVER, would it be possible for hubby to follow along, not participate, but follow along for picture taking only without having to have a ticket??

And is it really essential that I have one too since my son will be the one participating? If it is fine I have no problem paying but I know there are limited spaces and it might open one up for another child.

I think you might not quite understand what the tour is. It is not a children's tour -- it's a FAMILY tour. That means that it is designed to be enjoyed and participated in by people of all ages ... the entire family. It's not as though your four-year-old will be doing things while you watch -- you will be riding rides and participating in activities and taking part as well. You are not along to simply chaperone your child.

Every person on the tour -- even those who are simply following along to take pictures -- must have a paid admission to the tour as well as valid theme park admission.
