We did this tour on the 23rd of April, we did it as a family though, with a four year old. HE had a blast. The adults in the group really didn't seem to get into it as much as the kids, there were a few that did the hopping and crawling and noise making and stuff, but in general it really seemed to be more for the kids. It could also be because it was a unseasonably hot and humid day for April, and it was killing us adults.
Me and my husband had fun, but I am certain we would have not have enjoyed ourselves without our son there. There were two men in our group without children, they did seem to enjoy themselves, but again, they didn't really play along like the kids did.
I think it might be worth it if you are TRUELY a kid at heart and NOT afraid of making a complete fool out of yourself and just being SILLY, then go for it.
Realize that no Disney secrets are given during the tour and that no real information is obtained about the parks or rides in general; it is walking (or hopping, jumping, crawling) around the park for two hours looking for clues that leads to a character(s).
As an adult and a real big Disney fan I did find it hard not blurting out all the answers to the clues, trying to leave it for the kids and all.
MY opinion:
Don't get me wrong . . . .it IS fun! but I am not so sure it would be up the alley of a group of only adults. Part of the magic of the tour for me was watching my son have fun.
It really, really, depends on how much of a kid you are, your group might just have a blast.
