Family Magic Tour for 4.5 year old?

We are headed to DW in late October with my 4.5 year old. He loves scavenger hunts (is always begging me to make one up for him), has a great attention span and absolutely loves Peter Pan, Capt Hook and Wendy.
I think that he would love to do this tour/hunt and that it would be appropriate for him but was wondering if anyone else had taken their child around this age? Will it make him too tired to enjoy the rest of the day?'
It is just going to be me and him at DW as my DH is going down there for a seminar and we are leaving our 1.5 year old with my parents so if he does get tired, we can go back to the hotel and just rest afterwards.
Any tips?

We have done this twice... the first time with 5, 4 & 2.5 year olds. It is a lot of walking --- and not so much a scavenger hunt. More like following the clues on a treasure map.

The 2.5 year old did spend part of the time in a stroller --- but that was fine as well.

We loved it --- and did it again 3 years later.

We took my almost 4 year old on this last Feb. and had a blast! It was the highlight of the trip for him. It definately wasn't too much for him at all. He still talks all the time about the day we "saved the Magic Kingdom"!

Yes - do it!

We did this tour when DD was 6 and DS was 4. They absolutely loved it and still talk about it (they're 8 & 6 now). I hope to do it again when my youngest is old enough (he's only 10 mos right now).

Thanks so much I really thought he would love it but after talking to some people I was beginning to have second thoughts. This is so totally right up his alley and if we do get the Peter Pan one he will absolutely flip!!!!!

I first heard about it in a book I was reading and then from searching these forums ~ it sounds amazing!!!
